That’s Hot

This certainly caught my attention.

“He grabs me and he slams me up against the wall and kisses me, and then I grab him and I slam him up against the wall and I kiss him.”

Even moreso when it’s Jake Gyllenhaal talking – you know, the guy from October Sky, The Good Girl, The Day After Tomorrow and others? Reowr.

Center Stage

I almost feel the need to preface this whole thing by saying that I never considered myself even remotely interested in ballet. I remember watching Billy Elliot, but don’t remember the dancing.

Like a lot of titles, this movie has been in my Netflix queue for quite some time always being pushed down by something that I want to see first. It finally got to the top. Just watched it at a friend’s house and while driving home, I’ve never had more of an urge to find the closest gay club and go dancing. How’s _that_ for imagery? 🙂 Anyway, the dancing was outstanding. Ethan Steifel and Sascha Radetsky were incredible as were most of the other dancers. The plot left a little to be desired and was fairly predictable and I can’t quite fathom only one gay guy in a troupe of ballet dancers, but I easily overlooked these things. If you’ve got a Saturday afternoon to kill, give this film a thought.
